New version (v 3.6 rev 1 build 18)
This version brings some improvements and bug fixes and implements new drivers.
- New feature: management of dynamic relief groups depending on the alarm.
- Improved management of GSM modems for compatibility with the new Micromedia vocal GSM modem and processing of erratic behavior of some modems (untimely resets, no replies).
- Improved link management for better recognition of link failure with the supervision.
- Added SIA-IP driver for alarm transmissions to remote monitoring centers via an Internet connection.

No need for a telephone line with ALERT!
The same GSM modem can send SMS and voice calls
Micromedia provides a GSM modem, incorporating an in-house application, for incoming and outgoing call management and the transmission and reception of SMS.
No need to connect to a wired telephone line. A simple GSM modem with its antenna, possibly deported via the IP network, allows transmission of alarms via SMS and/or interactive voice calls.

New SIA-IP driver
This driver is used to transmit alarms to remote monitoring centers via a simple Internet connection, ensuring a high level of security (encryption, time stamping). Unlike traditional SIA drivers (SIA modem for analog phone line), it requires no special equipment. A simple outgoing Internet connection is enough.
ALERT may also, in contrast, receive and centralize alarms from alarm transmitters via a Message Processor script processing SIA-IP protocol.

At the Soignies hospital in Belgium, Alert centralizes all site alarms, technical alarms (building, access control, refrigerators) as well as business alarms (call patient, syringe push, heart monitor ...).

Major risks
The city of Nîmes has renewed its confidence in Micromedia's mobilization and alarm diffusion SIREN system, integrated in the ESPADA system for protection against flooding.
