1 - GUIDA d'installazione di un modem GSM
Il documento seguente descrive come installare i modem GSM in ALERT.
2 - Quale formato SMS devo scegliere ?
Durante la configurazione di un modem GSM, il formato degli SMS per default è « Auto ».In questo caso, Alert gestisce esso stesso il formato migliore per l'invio degli SMS, in funzione dei 2 formati (PDU e Testo) supportati dal modem.Per default il formato suggerito è PDU, che permette di avere accesso a tutte le funzionalità della norma GSM.Il formato « testo » viene utilizzato per i test.3 - Come si configura il numero di telefono per l'invio di SMS ?
Per l'invio di SMS raccomandiamo di settare il numero dell'operatore destinatario con il formato internazionale a livello della configurazione, inserendo quindi il codice del Paese (per esempio +39 per l'Italia).Alert aggiunge automaticamente il codice del Paese se il numero di telefono dell'operatore destinatario è più lungo di 8 caratteri.4 - Il segnale GSM è debole dove è installato il modem GSM: cosa fare ?
Si hanno due possibilità:-
Portare l'antenna in un punto in cui il segnale GSM è più forte: la distanza massima dal modem è di 30 metri;

Utilizzare un convertitore RS232 / IP oppure USB / IP: sono stati testati diversi convertitori RS232 / IP e USB / IP, che permettono di installare il modem in rete con la stazione Alert, posizionandolo anche in questo caso in un punto in cui il segnale GSM è più forte.
In entrambi i casi l'utilizzo del modem GSM non cambia.-
5 - AT+CPIN? Risposta con errore
Attivare il rapporto di errore esteso (con il comando AT+CMEE=1) per ottenere il codice di errore e verificare la causa dell'errore.Le cause possibili sono:- Scheda SIM o connettore della scheda SIM inserito non correttamente
- SIM difettosa
- Lettore della scheda SIM difettoso
- La scheda SIM non viene riconosciuta (SIM a 5V inserita in un modem o modulo compatibile solamente con schede SIM a 3V).
Potete altresì attivare l'opzione "+WIND non sollecitati" per esempio per mezzo del comando AT+WIND=1.Questo comando fornisce, in questo caso, indicazioni su modifiche sul connettore della scheda SIM (scheda SIM inserita, scheda SIM rimossa).Verificate il codice di errore sulla documentazione in vs. possesso.6 - +CMS ERROR: 512
Il GSM TS 04.08 precisa che se un SMS viene ricevuto mentre si sta cercando di inviare un SMS, quest'ultimo potrebbe essere respinto.
7 - +CMS ERROR: 513
Un errore +CMS ERROR: 513 è dovuto a 3 possibili cause:
- La MS (Mobile Station) perde la connessione radio (oppure la rete richiede una disconnessione RR)
- La MS (Mobile Station) non riconosce la ricevuta di ritorno della rete (CP_ACK) dopo 28 secondi dalla trasmissione dei messaggi corti di dati (CP_DATA)
- La MS (Mobile Station) non riconosce la ricevuta di ritorno della rete (CP_DATA (RP_ACK)) dopo 42 secondi dalla richiesta di apertura dei canali
8 - +CMS ERROR: 514
Questo errore viene ricevuto dalla rete quando il valore dell'Adresse Service Center non è corretto, oppure quando il valore dell'indirizzo di destinazione non è corretto.Questo errore significa che l'SMS è stato effettivamente inviato dal modulo (e correttamente formattato), ma è stato rifiutato dalla rete (il numero del destinatario non è un numero mobile / GSM, il valore del Centro Servizi non è corretto, il servizio non è disponibile, DCS non preso in carico, ...).Il cliente deve quindi verificare le informazioni contenute nell'SMS.9 - CMS (GSM Network Related) errors

Per poter acquisire gli allarmi ricevuti da Alert tramite SMS, occorre utilizzare uno script apposito.
Per installare lo script, occorre seguire le indicazioni contenute nel file AckAlarmSMS lisezmoi.txt nella directory C:\MMI\Alert
